The
Avishkar inter event is a state wide event, where participants from various
colleges present their presentation.
Dignitaries from the IEEE Hyderabad Section would be present to address the
gathering. This event will be held in February.
Format of
the event :
Round 1 (
Morning Session ) :
All the
participants will be divided into 4 rooms based on their topics.
The
participants will compete with the participants form their room.
Each presentation will be of two phases.
Phase 1 : Your Presentation (5 - 8 minutes)
In the 1st phase the
participant presents his presentation to the audience and the judges for a
maximum of 8 mins. The participant must complete all his slides within this
stipulated time. A warning bell at the 7th min of your presentation will be
sounded indicating only 1 minute of time is left.
Phase 2 : Query session.
In the 2nd phase the
participant will face a query session, where in the judges and audience will
ask them doubts and questions related to the topic of their presentation.
Therefore, participants are recommended to be thorough with their topic.
Once a participant’s
presentation is done, the participant must wait in the room till all the other
presentations are done.
Round 2 (
Afternoon Session ) :
The top 3 participants
from each room will be selected and the selected teams from all rooms shall
represent their presentations in a single room in the afternoon session out of
which the winners will be chosen.
